- Because many web authors are lazy or ignorant, they can inadvertently exclude people with disabilities and others when they create their web sites. To build an effective web site that be used by anyone, web authors must become aware how certain web techniques can exclude people, aware of their own role in making pages accessible or inaccessible, and aware of how to fix the problem. That's where I come in.
